One Earth was the preferred contractor to undertake bulk earthworks and detailed excavation of the Launceston sewer storage tank. The works included excavation and removing existing dam wall infrastructure, install crane pad and hardstands. The main detailed excavation tank area approximately 9 metres deep with extensive vertical drops and grades throughout, including cropping of 60 piles reinforced concrete piles using a hydraulic pile cropper attached to an excavator. Total earthworks volume 26000 cubic meters.
